Here you can enjoy wine tastings, take cooking classes or watch olive oil being produced at the local oil mill.

DAY 2

Chianti Area

Wine is undoubtedly one of the most typical products “made in Tuscany”and of such high quality and excellence as to be known, appreciated and exported all over the world.

When it comes to Tuscan wine, thoughts immediately fly to the area of Chianti, one of the most renowned production areas for its tradition and quality of its wines.

Visit to wineries that produce the wine.

Tasting their wines on the spot and visiting the cellar and vineyards

The tour includes a boutique winery visit including the production area where you will learn the history of the place as well as visit the vineyard and olive groves and afterwards enjoy an amazing lunch with wine tasting.

Stop in a village to enjoy the beautiful artisanal workshops and breathe in the Tuscan traditions.

Then stop in a second winery for a wine tasting. 6 hours tour.
Back to Hotel for leisure time.

DAY 3

Leisure time in the Castel and surroundings.

Just as in the 12th Century, the village itself still plays an essential role in our wine and oil production. The interiors of its ancient houses, churches, underground passages and deconsecrated churches have been discreetly converted into wine cellars, bottling plants and olive presses up to the ceiling in the latest equipment and all connected by an amazing underground “wineduct.”

Thus, Volpaia is not just another magnificent tourist attraction, but a thriving hive of activity whose inhabitants are all directly or indirectly involved in the winery.

DAY 4

Siena and San Gimignano

Direction to Siena and San Gimignano
Enjoy a fun filled day by discovering the beautiful Siena and San Gimignano.

Afterward you will walk to the highest part of the city to end your experience with an unforgettable visit to the Duomo with its refined Gothic architecture, treasures and masterpieces!

Then head to San Gimignano and stop on the way for a typical Tuscan lunch and wine tasting before heading to San Gimignano.

Unique and celebrated for its medieval towers, San Gimignano is a real “blast from the past” with its still intact atmosphere.

Enjoy the town on your own and do not forget to taste the world’s best gelato!

This small borgo of Volpaia has been completely restored and truly speaks of of its origins and importance in the area.
