DAY 1
Wine experience in Tuscany
On DAY1, after the welcome and the check in at the hotel, you will head to Castiglion del Bosco, one of the world’s most beautiful wine estates. Nestled against the side of a hill, almost out of sight, the new wine cellar was designed to coax the absolute best from the grapes grown in Castiglion del Bosco’s vineyards. Here guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of this authentic corner of Tuscany, a setting of unparalleled elegance and refinement, while enjoying a selection of the estate’s top wines. DAY 2
Galleria Uffizi
On DAY2, in the morning time, you will have the chance to visit the Galleria Uffizi that is one of the most famous museums in the world given the rich amount of unique artworks and masterpieces conserved within its walls, the majority from the Renaissance period. Located in the heart of Florence, the Uffizi Gallery hosts works of art by great Italian artists. The Uffizi, together with the Vatican Museums in Rome, are the top two most visited museums in Italy by visitors from all across the world. By walk you will reach the Palazzo Vecchio, Town hall of Florence, where faith and science join together with breathless revelations. This will lead the way through the beautiful Salone dei 500 and the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio. We will also admire the Hall of Geographical Maps, the balconies and Dante’s death Mask. In the afternoon, you will go shopping with our chef at the central food market picking up the ingredients for your dinner. You will meet the butchers, the bakers, and the farmers selling vegetables from their gardens. You will learn how to distinguish the highest quality ingredients and taste local foods and\n wines! After this fun experience, you will reach our home-like professional location and you will start putting your hands on the ingredients to create your own meal, driven by the expert guidance of our Chef. Your menu may slightly vary depending on the season and the fresh ingredients available. You will obviously eat the meal you prepared yourself, accompanied with two glasses of a selection of Chianti wine. As you will eat your own food, you had better be an attentive student while the Chef is teaching!
DAY 3
Winery, Restaurant and Shopping in Tuscany
On DAY3 you will discover one of the most famous winery in the world, Antinori. An experience of the architecture, the flavors, and the emotions which will reveal, at the same time, both the full majesty of the cellar and the intensity of the most representative wines. Built entirely with locally sourced materials, respectful of the surrounding environment and preserving with great care the Tuscan landscape, it’s a milestone in the history of the Marchesi Antinori company. The winery has become a place to discover the pleasures of living and breathing wine and to understand its progression: pressing, fermentation and aging – all without interfering with the wine’s quality. The visit will finish in the Rinuccio 1180 restaurant overlooking over the hills of Chianti, where Cont Ugo and Guado al Tasso and the dessert wine Muffato della Sala will accompany dishes from the Tuscan tradition re-elaborated in a contemporary vein. In the afternoon you will be transferred with our luxury Mercedes minivan at The Mall, a luxury outlet center created to offer customers products of excellence at extremely advantageous prices. Immersed in the idyllic Tuscan countryside in an elegant and refined architectural space, The Mall outlet center is the unique home to a selection of the most exclusive labels of international fashion.
